Sonora is an innovative audiobook and podcast platform designed for book lovers and lifelong learners. The goal of the project was to create an app that has a unique blend of personalised content, social interaction, and efficiency boosting features to transform users reading and learning experiences using a human centred design approach.

Using the double diamond technique, our journey began with comprehensive research methods such as interviews, competitor analysis, and online surveys to uncover the core issues. We defined our focus areas through tools like Affinity Mapping, Empathy Mapping, Proto Personas, and Customer Journey Mapping, all aimed at gaining deep insights into user needs.

This approach fueled the development of impactful UX solutions, utilizing ideation techniques like Brainstorming, Crazy 8’s, Storyboarding, MVP Mapping, as well as effective UI architecture. These methods breathed life into Sonora's concept as a user-centric app.

Finally, the project moved into the implementation phase, scaling, and iterative user testing for a successful delivery.
